We offer three clearly different formats, depending on whether your team is after fun team building with a few aha moments, needs a structured diagnostic tool for people development or a large-group solution for whole departments, all for 2 to 28 people per slot.

Three formats for different team goals
1. Classic team building, the escape room as a group experience
The standard format for teams who want a special day together. You book one of our three classic rooms or one of our ten VR escape rooms, we brief you in 15 minutes, then you've got 60 minutes of playing time. After that a success photo, a short debrief with your game master, done. Total time about 80 minutes.

2. Performance Lab, team building with AI-supported analysis
The premium format for teams who don't just want to have fun but also take concrete insights away from the event. While you're playing in the room, we watch eight behavioural dimensions in a structured way (communication, leadership, reaction to stress, creative problem solving and others). Afterwards you'll get an AI analysis report with concrete observations, as a starting point for your next team meeting, people development or follow-up workshops. 100 % GDPR compliant.

3. Combo Mode, large groups of 8 to 28 people
If your team is too big for a single room: 2 to 4 of our rooms in parallel at the same start time. All teams start at once, every sub-team plays its own adventure, and afterwards you compare times and experiences. A flat 26 € per person, whatever the exact group size. With the 4-room combo, teams of up to 28 people are possible in one run; larger groups we spread across several rounds. The highest combo participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged.

What your team takes away from the escape room
The escape room isn't a high ropes course and it isn't a climbing park, it's a controlled mini crisis. 60 minutes under time pressure, with complex puzzles, without a clear hierarchy. That's exactly what makes it an honest team diagnostic tool. In every team we see the same patterns coming back:

How it works, from the enquiry to the reflection impulse
1. Send your enquiry. Up to 28 people or without special requests, book directly online through the list of available slots. If you have special requests (Performance Lab, a full-day programme), write to us at info@escapehannover.de or call 0511 51529144, and we'll be happy to answer and send you a written confirmation.
2. Choose a time and a format. You decide on one of our three classic rooms, Hannover Dungeon (a medieval expedition), Harry's School of Magic (magic and spells) or the Bitcoin Conspiracy (a pro room, recommended for an average group age of 14 or over), or on one of the ten VR escape rooms. For Performance Lab we'll advise you on which room to pick.
3. On the day. Be on time at Goseriede 4 in the Tiedthof (entrance D, courtyard). Cloakroom, a quick hello, a briefing on the room (15 min), then 60 minutes of playing time. We watch and look after the team by audio and video and give hints when you need them.
4. After the game. A success photo and a short debrief. With Performance Lab the person in charge gets the team report by email within 48 hours, checked by a person. With Performance Lab Pro an external coach also observes by video call, reviews the report professionally, and you get an individual profile for each team member.
5. Home or onwards. In the centre of Hannover everything is within a 5-10 minute walk: restaurants, bars, the main station. With our Escape & Eat offer you'll get a free soft drink with every main course at our partner restaurants.

How many people can do team building at Escape Hannover?
In the classic mode you play in one room with 2 to 6 people. For bigger teams we use the Combo Mode: 2 to 4 rooms at the same time with the same start, which covers groups of 8 to 28 people (2-room combo 8-15 people, 3-room combo 15-22 people, 4-room combo 21-28 people). Even bigger teams we spread across several rounds.
What does team building in Hannover cost with you?
Classic team building starts at 26 € per person in the Combo Mode (from 8 people). Smaller teams in a single room: 89 € (2 people) to 156 € (6 people) in total. Performance Lab (escape room with AI analysis) from 55 € per person: room price plus 29 € analysis per person, analysis at least 99 € per room. How long does a team building event take?
A classic escape room team building takes about 80 minutes: 15 minutes of briefing and introduction, 60 minutes of playing time, then a photo and a short debrief with your game master. For Performance Lab and Performance Lab Pro allow around 90 minutes (60 minutes of play plus briefing and debrief), and the report arrives by email within 48 hours.
What does our team actually learn?
In the escape room, patterns of communication, leadership and problem solving become visible under time pressure: who takes over the coordination naturally, who finds creative solutions, how does the team deal with uncertainty? The classic format works for fun team building with light insights. Performance Lab gives you a structured analysis report with concrete observations, as a basis for appraisal conversations or follow-up workshops.
Do we need to book a minimum time ahead?
Standard bookings work directly online, and short-notice slots (under 72 hours) go through the short-notice request. For large teams of 8 people or more, or for Performance Lab, we recommend 1-2 weeks' notice. Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before your slot, after that it's 75 € per room.
Where can we eat before or after?
We don't have our own restaurant in the Tiedthof, but we're right in the centre of Hannover, with plenty of restaurants 5-10 minutes' walk away (Steintor, Lister Meile, main station). With our Escape & Eat offer you'll get a free soft drink with every main course at our partner restaurants. For larger groups we're happy to recommend restaurants.
