Three formats for different company occasions
1. Classic, an escape room for small teams
The standard format for departments, project teams or management meetings of up to 6 people. One room, 60 minutes of playing time, then a group photo of your success and a short debrief. Total duration about 80 minutes.
Suitable for: small teams, project groups, board meetings

2. Combo Mode, a large-group company outing for 8 to 28 people
If the whole department is coming along: 2 to 4 rooms in parallel at the same start time. All the sub-teams start together, each team plays its own adventure, and at the end you compare playing times and experiences. A flat 26 € per person, whatever the exact group size. With the 4-room combo, teams of up to 28 people can play in one go, and we spread larger groups over several rounds. The highest combo participant numbers are exceptional capacities with less space per person. Regular limits for individual room bookings remain unchanged.

3. Multi-activity day, an escape room as the highlight of a day trip
A whole day in Hannover for the company: an escape room as the highlight of the morning or afternoon, combined with lunch together at one of the many restaurants in the city centre (5-10 minutes' walk away) and, if you like, a short sightseeing tour of Hannover (old town, Maschsee lake, Herrenhausen Gardens within tram distance) or a night watchman tour with our partner StattReisen Hannover (booked directly with them, meeting point here with us in the Tiedthof). We coordinate the times so that everything fits together.

How it works, from booking to a meal together
1. Send an enquiry. For up to 28 people or without special requests, book directly online via the dates overview. For whole departments of 8 or more or a multi-activity day, write to us at info@escapehannover.de or call 0511 51529144. We're happy to reply and will send you a written confirmation with your company's billing address.
2. Choose a date and rooms. Three classic rooms to choose from: the Hannover Dungeon (a medieval expedition, easy to medium), Harry's School of Magic (a magical setting, medium) and The Bitcoin Conspiracy (a pro room, recommended for an average group age of 14 or over). Plus ten VR escape rooms for tech-savvy teams. For mixed age groups we recommend the first two.
3. On the day. Arrive on time at Goseriede 4 in the Tiedthof (entrance D, courtyard). We'll welcome your team with a short hello and a briefing on the room (15 min), then you have 60 minutes of playing time. We look after the team by audio and video and give hints if needed.
4. After the game. A photo of your success and a short debrief with the game master. There's no restaurant of our own in the Tiedthof, but within 5-10 minutes on foot you'll find everything from a bratwurst to an upmarket Italian (Steintor, Lister Meile, around the main station). With our Escape & Eat offer you get a free soft drink per main course at partner restaurants (just show your receipt from the day you played).
5. Optional: make a longer day of it. From the Tiedthof the main station is 5 minutes on foot, and the Maschsee lake, the old town and Herrenhausen Gardens are within tram distance. On request we'll recommend a 2-3 hour sightseeing tour or put you in touch with a city guide, for example the night watchman tour by StattReisen Hannover (booked directly with them).

How long does a company outing at Escape Hannover take?
The escape room part alone takes about 80 minutes (15 min briefing + 60 min of playing time + debrief and photo). If you're planning the escape room as the highlight of a full-day company outing, you'll usually combine it with lunch or dinner together (5-10 minutes on foot to plenty of restaurants in the centre) and, if you like, a short sightseeing tour of Hannover. Altogether, plan for about 4-6 hours.
What does a company outing cost?
In Combo Mode (from 8 people) it's a flat 26 € per person. Smaller teams in a single room pay 89 € (2 people) to 156 € (6 people) in total. Payment by invoice is available for companies, institutions and school groups when needed. Private groups normally pay on site. We create it after you have played and send it by email.
How many people can play at the same time?
In a single room, 2 to 6 people. With our Combo Mode, 8 to 28 people play in parallel at the same start time (2-room combo 8-15 people, 3-room combo 15-22 people, 4-room combo 21-28 people). For even larger groups we plan several rounds one after another, see More than 28 people.
Is it also suitable for teams with mixed age groups?
Yes, an escape room is one of the few activities that works across generations. From the 18-year-old apprentice to the 60-year-old managing director, different generations can solve puzzles together. Please check the access and mobility information for your chosen room and contact us beforehand if you have questions. We don't have our own restaurant in the Tiedthof, but we're right in the centre of Hannover, with plenty of restaurants 5-10 minutes' walk away (Steintor, Lister Meile, around the main station). With our Escape & Eat offer you get a free soft drink per main course at partner restaurants. We're happy to recommend restaurants that serve larger company groups.
How much notice do we need for the booking?
For up to 28 people or without special requests, book directly online; standard bookings often work at short notice. For large teams of 8 or more or multi-activity days we recommend 1-2 weeks' notice, so that we can book several rooms in parallel. Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before your slot.
